Do I need to be fit before starting?
No. Strength Foundations is designed for beginners and people returning to exercise after a break.
Do I need a gym membership?
No. Most people complete the programme at home using a combination of bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, kettlebells or dumbbells.
If you already belong to a gym, you can absolutely use the programme there too.
What equipment do I need?
At minimum, a resistance band and either a kettlebell or a pair of dumbbells will allow you to complete most of the programme.
You don’t need a home gym or expensive equipment.
What if I go on holiday?
That’s one of the reasons the programme includes 12 weeks of access for an 8-week programme.
You can take a break and pick up where you left off.
What if I miss a week?
No problem.
There is no falling behind.
Simply continue from where you stopped.
What is the difference between Strength Foundations and Strength Foundations Plus?
Strength Foundations gives you the complete programme.
Strength Foundations Plus includes access to the weekly Hot Seat sessions, the opportunity to ask questions, and personalised feedback on exercise technique.
The programme itself remains the same in both versions.
Will I get a personalised programme?
No.
Strength Foundations is a structured programme that will use what equipment you have.
If you need individual programme design, ongoing adjustments, rehabilitation support or one-to-one coaching, Strength for Life Coaching is likely to be a better fit.
Can I do this alongside weight-loss medication?
Yes.
Strength training is one of the best ways to support muscle preservation during weight loss. Many clients complete the programme while using weight-loss medication.
What happens when I finish?
You’ll have the option to continue with a follow-on programme designed to build on the foundations you’ve already established.
Many people continue independently, while others decide they’d benefit from more personalised support.
